1. Start by introducing the dogs on neutral ground, such as a park.
2. Keep the dogs on a leash and allow them to sniff each other while keeping a safe distance.
3. Avoid any aggressive behavior from either dog by keeping them separate and redirecting them if necessary.
4. Give each dog its own space and allow them to explore and become comfortable with each other’s presence.
5. Allow the dogs to interact in a supervised environment and reward good behavior with treats.
6. Gradually increase the amount of time the dogs spend together and the level of interaction.
7. Provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection to both dogs to help them bond.
